Description

A delicious holiday cheesecake combining creamy texture with tart cranberry jam, perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cranberry jam
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press into a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and sour cream.
  4. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Spoon cranberry jam over it, then pour the remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Optional: top with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. Make sure to bring dairy ingredients to room temperature before mixing.
