Description

Ingredients

  • Water, eggs, and oil as instructed on the mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Green food coloring
  • Festive holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini cupcake pan.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions and fill each cavity two-thirds full.
  3. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
  4. Use a round teaspoon to create an indentation in the center of each brownie.
  5. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  6. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream, mixing alternately.
  7. Add vanilla, salt, and green food coloring, then whip until fluffy.
  8. Pipe the frosting onto each brownie to resemble a Christmas tree.
  9. Decorate with holiday sprinkles.
