Description

A deliciously easy slow cooker dinner that combines tender beef, hearty potatoes, and nutritious cabbage in a comforting one-pot meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the beef chuck if necessary.
  2. Dice the potatoes, chop the cabbage, and slice the onion into thin strips.
  3. Place the beef chuck roast at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Layer the diced potatoes, chopped cabbage, and sliced onion on top.
  5. In a bowl, combine the beef broth, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  6. Pour the broth mixture over the layered ingredients in the slow cooker.
  7. Cover tightly and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  8. Shred the beef slightly with two forks before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. This dish freezes well; consider making extra for future meals.
