Description

A game-changing side dish featuring crunchy Brussels sprouts topped with a rich mustard cream sauce and crispy bacon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy; drain on paper towels and crumble.
  5. In a skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add cream, mustard, and lemon juice; cook until thickened.
  6. Drizzle sauce over Brussels sprouts and top with bacon.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and bacon with a vegan alternative.
