Description

This Crockpot Meatloaf is an incredibly easy recipe that packs flavor and nutrition, perfect for families.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and dice the onion into ¼-inch pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, bread crumbs, egg, Swiss cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and carefully place it into your pre-greased crockpot.
  4. Spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf to create a flavorful glaze.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until cooked through (160°F internal temperature).
  6. Once done, carefully remove the meatloaf and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap ground beef with ground turkey. Use fresh herbs for added flavor.
