A quick and delicious side dish featuring crispy Brussels sprouts, savory bacon, and a creamy mustard sauce.

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 6 strips of bacon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes.
- While the sprouts are roasting, cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then crumble it.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
- Once the Brussels sprouts are done, toss them in the skillet with the sauce, then sprinkle the crispy bacon on top.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For added crunch, flip the Brussels sprouts halfway through roasting.
