Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bag frozen French fries
- 5 strips bacon
- 1 cup cheese curds
- 1 cup beef or chicken gravy
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to package instructions for the frozen fries.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a saucepan, pour the gravy and heat over medium until warm, stirring occasionally.
- Once the fries are ready, transfer them to a serving plate. Sprinkle cheese curds generously over the fries, top with crispy bacon, and pour warm gravy over the entire dish. Season with salt and pepper, and add optional green onions if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray fries with cooking oil before baking. Ensure bacon is drained on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
