A quick and comforting classic pasta bake with rich tomato sauce, heavy cream, and melty cheese.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta (penne or ziti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
- Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
Notes
Can be personalized with vegetables or protein for added nutrition.
