  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • Italian seasoning, optional

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by gathering everything needed.
  2. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in a skillet with melted butter until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, stirring occasionally for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Incorporate the shrimp into the mixture and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. If too thick, add reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
  7. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet and mix well.
