Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Muenster cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Chop the onion and bell pepper. Shred the cooked chicken if you haven’t already.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Muenster cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, cooked rice, chopped onion, bell pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for that extra crunch.
  5. Place the casserole in the preheated oven. Bake until bubbly and golden on top (approximately 25-30 minutes).
