Description

Delicious jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a savory mixture of crumbled sausage, sweet corn, and creamy cheeses, topped with marinara for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine crumbled sausage, corn, ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Carefully stuff each pasta shell with the filling.
  5. Place the stuffed shells in a greased baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the shells, then sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use freshly cooked sausage; it adds flavor and moisture. Don’t overcook the shells; they should be al dente as they will continue to cook in the oven.
