Scale
- 1 package jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup corn
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine crumbled sausage, corn, ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Carefully stuff each pasta shell with the filling.
- Place the stuffed shells in a greased baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the shells, then sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use freshly cooked sausage; it adds flavor and moisture. Don’t overcook the shells; they should be al dente as they will continue to cook in the oven.
