Delightful and festive Christmas Cake Pops, made from leftover cake and decorated to perfection, making them a perfect treat for the holidays.
Ingredients

- Leftover cake or 1 boxed white cake mix
- 1/3–1/2 cup vanilla frosting
- Candy melts (assorted colors)
- Sprinkles (variety for decoration)
- Cake pop sticks or lollipop sticks
- Optional flavoring extracts (almond, peppermint)
Instructions
- Bake or prepare your cake according to package directions (25-35 minutes), then let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl and mix in 1/3 to 1/2 cup of frosting until combined.
- Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture (about 1.5 tbsp each) and roll into balls or shape into trees. Place on parchment paper and freeze for 10–20 minutes until firm.
- Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into melted candy or chocolate then insert into each pop and freeze for another 5–10 minutes.
- Melt candy melts at 50% power in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Dip each pop fully in the melted candy and tap off excess.
- While the coating is still wet, add sprinkles or decorations of your choice.
- Allow pops to set completely while standing upright before serving.
Notes
Ensure cake pops are stored in an airtight container at room temperature for optimal freshness. Avoid humid areas to keep coating firm.
