Description

An irresistible dessert blending the rich flavors of dark chocolate with the tartness of fresh raspberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
  • 8 oz. dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing melted butter and 1/4 cup of sugar, then gradually add flour and cocoa until a dough forms. Press evenly into a tart pan.
  2. Bake the crust at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes until golden brown, then let cool.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate over simmering water until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and 1/4 cup sugar until glossy. Fold in raspberries.
  4. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for 20-25 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. Let the tart cool completely before serving.

Notes

Pair with whipped cream or ice cream for an extra treat. Allowing the tart to chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving enhances flavor.
