A quick and delicious Chicken and Mushroom Skillet featuring a creamy Asiago and mustard sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Asiago cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes on each side. Set aside.
  2. Sauté mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Lower heat, add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Asiago cheese. Stir until smooth.
  4. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
