- 2 Chicken Breasts, Boneless and skinless
- 1 Cup Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Diced Onions
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Parsley for Garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet.
- Pour chicken broth over chicken and mushrooms.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes, then transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For a crispy top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
