Description

A refreshing and creamy Italian appetizer that elegantly combines burlata cheese with juicy tomatoes and fresh basil, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Baguette or Ciabatta
  • Fresh Burrata Cheese
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Juicy Tomatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice your baguette or ciabatta into 1/2 inch slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over each slice.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While the bread is toasting, chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and combine them with chopped basil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  5. Remove the toasted bread from the oven and top each slice with burrata cheese.
  6. Add the tomato and basil mixture on top of the burrata.
  7. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and a little more olive oil on top.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add roasted garlic or prosciutto.
