Description

A comforting Italian dish layering pasta, shredded chicken, fresh tomatoes, and melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, fusilli, or rotini)
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning, stirring until fragrant.
  4. In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, tomatoes, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Layer in a baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot.
