Description

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole perfect for busy mornings, combining eggs, sausage, hash browns, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hash browns
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 pound cooked sausage
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs (chives or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up until browned and draining excess grease.
  3. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread the hash browns evenly on the bottom.
  4. Scatter the cooked sausage over the hash browns and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake for 45 minutes until set.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until melted and bubbly.
