Description

A quick and flavorful Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry that combines savory beef with vibrant vegetables, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing your beef sirloin into thin strips against the grain.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef and let it sear without stirring for about 1 minute.
  4. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
  5. Once the beef is done, add the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the black pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and salt. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh green onions before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference. Ensure your pan is hot to avoid steaming.
