- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup smoked gouda, shredded
- 1/2 cup low-moisture mozzarella, shredded
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza steel or stone inside for at least 45 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch the pizza dough to desired size.
- Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce over the dough.
- Scatter the BBQ chicken evenly over the sauce.
- Add the red onion slices on top.
- Sprinkle the smoked gouda and mozzarella cheeses across the pizza.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 6-10 minutes, rotating halfway through, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove pizza from the oven and finish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
- Slice and serve hot.
