Description

An irresistible appetizer featuring creamy Brie wrapped in flaky puff pastry, topped with cranberry-pepper jelly and pecans.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round Brie cheese (812 ounces)
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry-pepper jelly
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Center the Brie cheese on the rolled-out pastry, spread jelly over it, and sprinkle with pecans.
  4. Wrap the pastry around the Brie and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Brush the wrapped Brie with the egg wash.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different jams or nuts. Best served warm with crackers or fruits.
